Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance: Corporate Sustainability Report

Fluid worked with the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) in late 2009 to complete a sustainability impacts assessment, establish a performance baseline for future analysis, set long term organizational sustainability goals and create a sustainability plan with action items to help NEEA reach those goals. Working in a collaborative process with NEEA’s internal Sustainability Team, Fluid helped NEEA build capacity and engage its executive team, board of directors and contractors around its sustainability efforts.
Revelation, Carbon Calculator: Fluid is currently working with Revelation, Inc, a qualitative research software company, to create an avoided carbon calculator. This calculator will estimate avoided carbon emissions for Revelation clients who use their on-line focus group software rather than conducting in-person research. This information will be used as part of a PR and marketing strategy and will help Revelation increase their competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Fremont Veterinarian Clinic, Sustainability Assessment: This project is part of Fluid’s annual good-will effort to engage a new industry in sustainability by performing a free sustainability assessment and action plan. Fluid is providing the clinic with an overall picture of their sustainability performance and a prioritized list of action items, many of which will have a quick return on investment.
Oregon Department of Energy Green Building Analysis: This project evaluated various green building programs in North America (US and Canada) to provide market insight, design components, savings and impact figures, and evaluation of the marketplace in order to assist the Oregon Department of Energy in establishing a state standard for "Green" as it relates to residential building
Oregon Bio-diesel Workshop, Business Strategy: This project provided consulting and development of a business plan for the Alternative Energy Coalition. This coalition was created by the Oregon Bio-diesel Workshop, Terra-Clean, and other interested parties to support FREE education on bio-fuels.
Tec Laboratories: Fluid is working with Tec Laboratories to help them meet and exceed the requirements in Walmart’s Supplier Sustainability Assessment. As part of this process, Fluid is delivering a corporate sustainability report and providing guidance on developing internal systems and policies to improve their sustainability performance.
